Kurseong is a town and a municipality in Darjeeling district in the Indian state of west Bengal. It is the headquarters of the Kurseong Subdivision. Located at an altitude of 1,482.55 metres (4,864.0 ft), Kurseong is 32 kilometres (20 mi) from Darjeeling and has a pleasant climate throughout the year. Kurseong is 34 kilometres (21 mi) from Siliguri and is connected to the city by road and the Darjeeling Himalatan Railways. The nearest airport is at Bagdogra and the nearest major railway station is New Jalpaiguri, which is about 45 kilometres (28 mi) from the town. The economy is based primarily on education and tourism. Kurseong is surrounded by a myriad of tea gardens. These include Castleton, Makaibarie, Ambootia and Goomtee, all of which can be visited. The tracks of the 'Darjeeling Toy Train' run the length of the town, and the station is the nucleus of the town.

Kurseong has many hills, and the town itself is house to many different hills named in local language or the English language ( eg : Dow Hill , St. Mary's Hill, Deorali (synonym for Hill) etc)

Here, is the picturesque town settlement in Durpin Dara( Dara: Local name for Hill) , clicked from view point of Giddha Pahad ( Pahad: Local name for Hill).

But, this is view without durpin( telescope).

I call this town the * Land of Hills* as what in addition it is already known as * Land of White Orchids* as well as *Megher Desh*( written in many Nepali novels, when people came to Megher Desh, they were stunned by the beauty of nature and floating clouds)

Day 3> LepchaJagat, Mirik, Pashupati

After Breakfast Pick up from homestay & visit Lepchajagat, Mirik then have some exotic shopping at Pashupati Market. Overnight stay at Kurseong.

Day 4> Drop

After Breakfast pick up from homestay and dtop to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport/Siliguri Bus Stand with Sweet Memories...!!!
